I wanna see the top posts of the day thing how it was a long time ago with all the pictures etc.

Sounds like a good idea, will concentrate the entire site into a simple page.

I don't know, it could work but there's a lot of buttons ... I would assume that they would be links to forum sections

I'm also thinking of having arcade things up there, newest games/latest high scores.

 

@Dark Den: Yeah thats a good idea. We could have modules that show top posters, top posters today, etc. Perhaps just ones that change daily to keep it interesting.

Oh lol I didn't mean their navigation. I mean just how they have tons of content on their homepage while we just have news.

Projects is definitely something that would go on this. I would like to have completed projects, screenies, and demo links but the trouble is that, from a developers point of view, our projects content is basically a block of text stored in the database. If I get clubs up and working, then that would definitely happen :)

 

I'm thinking of ideas for the layout, and I think that's the most tricky part.

 

I had a really nice idea I picked up from a developers forum. So many ideas, so little time :P
