My Return
Hey guys :biggrin_002: Im back. Life's been real good to me lately :) Anyways, I got some news for ya all.
Hope Afloat has been put on hold for a bit. I'm working on a project called 'In Utter Darkness' with a good friend of mine. Its a horror game, and in only 2 days we've made large strides in the way of eventing and scripting for the game. I can't spoil anything about it at this time. Stay tuned~.
And I'm still a zombie fanatic. Soon enough I'll just be setting up a facebook page where I'll just post random things I come along the other day. So far I've come across a friend who has a certificate (II) in engineering, and is legally allowed to make his own blades :D So thats awesome. I've just been thinking about zombies a tonne lately, and have been typing random things I find into a notepad for now. This one I wrote today, and it really enlightened me :D
"Well, until now, I have been very sceptical about chainsaws in a zombie apocalypse. Granted, very easy kills. But gore is a definite factor to it. That and petrol. However, I always thought, if you wore a guard of some sort, like a welding mask, the gore wouldn't really matter when using a chainsaw. And, until recently, I've pretty much been religious about fucking off chainsaws, unless your going to weld the blades to the front of your zombie car, due to petrol. The same amount of petrol to fill a chainsaw can power a petrol generator for anywhere between 4-16 hours, dependant on the generator. However, today in Bunnings, I saw a completely petrol-less chainsaw. It had a cord coming out of the back, retractable, that plugged into power and ran directly off that power. With this, theres no excess exhaust from burning petrol and, to boost, could be charged using a hand crank generator. If you dont know what a hand crank generator is, its just a box with a single plug for power and a hand crank. You crank the crank and it uses magnets to create power. With one of these chainsaws and a hand crank generator you could have a seriously effective weapon. Thank you Bunnings :)"
So, that's all from me for now. Catch you guys later :alright:
