so lets see...

currently, i have 52 playable maps, 7 maps that either don't appear in the game, and are for my use only, or are simply used to show cutscenes, 22 enemies, 4 destroyable objects, like pots and barrels, 3 true bosses (as in there is a cutscene before fighting them) and about 1hr of gameplay.

all weapons, armor, and items have been created, and i have most of the scripts i need.

the entire story is already thought of. There will definitely be a sequel. i haven't made a final decision on the title, but right now it's Arcatis II: The Chosen One

It will take place 2 days after the end of the first game, and will have some kind of weapon level system. since the three main characters have already graduated, the name issues that i can't seem to fix will not be present in the sequel.

the world is split into 4 parts

3 countries, and 1 unclaimed territory. the northernmost one, named after the city that was started in it's center, Arcatis, the southernmost one, Polraud, and the Western one, Kelless. Only Arcatis appears in the first game, but you visit all 4 areas in the sequel. All major areas in Arcatis have been named, and there will be something in game, where you can read about each area.

the ending of the game has been created, but may be changed from what it is now.

if you can help with scripting, or spriting, let me know, any help would be greatly appreciated, and i will definitely have a job for you.

I'm going to add another entry whenever i finish a large area, or an important scene, and post a screenshot of it. for this one, i just finished the volcanic portion of Mt. Aestuo, and am currently working on the greener part. the screenshot i posted is from the first map of the green part of Mt. Aestuo.

Mt. Aestuo is a volcano near the center of the country of Arcatis, bordered by Silver Forest on 2 sides. The second dark orb is on this mountain, and clearly formed after the first was destroyed, since the area it affected is much smaller.

don't worry about me giving out spoilers about my own game, i know what parts are important.
