Yeah I was testing what it would look like here as well as the color scheme.

 

I have already began work on the skin for the forum, which will look similar to above. The challenging part will be making the header and member bars identical across both.

 

This will actually be a semi-major update. To achieve an identical skin, I have to have the same menus. For this I have to use and rewrite my menu hook. I will then completely change the menu to suit the forums too(links to forum stuff, so we're syncing our navigation), and for the links to work on the forum i need to install a component which creates friendly urls as well as redirecting from all of the old urls. Which is essential as we would get a lot of 404's from search engines, and that would stop traffic coming in.

 

Yeah, its a big job.
