Chasing System
This is just a small project showing an event that can run away from the player.
That event is not just have "Move Away from Player" move route instead it also have variables and conditions that will affect based on the position of the main player causing the event to decide where to go when it reaches a dead end.
It has 15+ switches and 8 variables.

Silly Cutscene

This is a stupid cutscene I made for a friend in order to demonstrate the process of creating a cutscene
in RPG Maker XP.
Please don't mind the incredibly stupid and low quality map. >_<
You'll need to have your volume on in order to experience the nonsnese in all its glory.
There is a pop-in-your-face scare type thing... so.. yeah.
Also, if for some reason the other file in this zip had an any extension other than .exe, just change it to .exe, and you'll be able to extract it.
Anyways.. enjoy. Or not. It's up to you.

Story:
The world is at peace once again, but after only 6 months, monsters start pouring out of the other temples that weren't in the previous game. The boy goes to defeat the monsters and find out who is responsible for this. along the way he meets Zero (MMX), Cloud Strife, Riku, and Sora (KH).
Characters:
Bob: The main character. You can name him whatever. Recently saved the elementals, and defeated Sephiroth
Thief: The Mayor's Daughter. Name her whatever and friend of Bob
Auron: A Mysterious man who carries a large sword. He says he does not belong in this world.
Mayor: The Mayor of Domusville. I didn't name the town until FFXP4. The Mayor is skilled with magic.
Terra: The Earth Elemental.
Ignis: The Fire Elemental.
Aqua: The Water Elemental.
Caeli: The Wind Elemental.
Seriphim: The head angel of Sky Tower.
Sephiroth: A mysterious man with unknown intentions. He has one black wing.
Cloud Strife: A mercenary with some kind of connection to Sephiroth.
Zero: A robot form the future looking for someone who killed his friend
Riku: A skilled warrior who lives in the shadows
Sora: Riku's best friend an skilled warrior who has saved many worlds.
Demon King: He seems to be in league with Sephiroth.

A boy (you name him) receives a letter from the mayor of a nearby town inviting him yo his house. The boy learns that he must save the four elementals and learn who imprisoned them. The Mayor's Daughter goes with him. along the way, they meet Auron(FFX) and "Mage".
characters:
Bob: The main character. You can name him whatever. He's apparently the chosen one. He has had some experience with a sword already.
Thief: The Mayor's Daughter. Name her whatever. She goes with Bob to help save the elementals
Auron: A Mysterious man who carries a large sword. He helps Bob save the elementals
Mage: A Mage who lives in Glacies Town. Name her whatever. She asks for help to defeat a monster.
Mayor: The Mayor of Domusville. I didn't name the town until FFXP4. The Mayor is skilled with magic.

a boy is captured by a man who claims to know him. He escapes from his cell with Barret Wallace.
they learn that they need to restore the energy in the four crystals that keep the world from falling apart.
later, the boy learns what's REALLY going on, who the mysterious man is, who he's working for, and who HE is.
Characters: Bob, the main character.(you name him) Vince, he thinks he's better than you, and could be considered a stalker. Barret Wallace, leader of AVALANCHE, he was thrown in jail after the events of Final Fantasy 7. (he was moved)
Ventas, Keyblade Wielder looking for his friend Terra. Terra, a Keyblade wielder looking for a man named Xehanort.
still need Darunia, and Zora king sprites.

Legend of Chaos [DEMO]

A short demo for my current project, known as Legend of Chaos.
While it currently lacks the starting cutscene, here is basically what happens before the start of the game:
Atticus and his sister Moira leave for the Northern Mountains to gather Sunbloom for their father, the town's local alchemist. While they are gathering thge Sunbloom, they are suddenly greeted by a raging storm, and are forced to hide beneath a large tree for shelter. After a while the storm clears, and Atticus suddenly finds a mysterious and ancient-looking relic near the place where they gathered the Sunbloom. Thinking that the relic would be worth a lot of money, the two decide to take it with them back to town. Yet as soon as Atticus touches it a portal opens right behind him, and sucks him in. He later wakes up in an unknown place, and decides to explore to try and find a way back to his town...
This demo takes you through the approximately first four levels of the game, and ends after beating the first boss. While a lot of this is still a work in progress, I may release another, larger demo version later on.

Story:
Jeff, the main character, struggles through an endless war of good versus evil. He is the only one who can see the true dark side to his former leader, Dawn. It is kind of challenging to stand against such a dark power when nearly the whole world is on the wrong side, due to blind judgments made by a destructive leader. Not only will Jeff have to fight off an army of mislead, doomed souls, but he will have to stand up against some of the most carnivorous calamities known to man.
It is a story of passion. Not only of love--but love of hate.
The story begins at Jeff's small house with his current lover, Shannon. He just can't seem to get over his father's recent death, caused by Dawn's army, the Legions of Light. His guilt and shame he feels for not protecting his father when he needed it is overwhelming and draining. As an ex-soldier of the legion, he has decided to try to live a life without violence and hatred, but certain circumstances make that dream impossible.
Learn more about Jeff's family and his past as you play through this epic story full of greed, betrayal, and pure evil.

Anyway, this is a tech demo of the labyrinth section of my scripted game. please, enjoy. I apologize for the lack of screenshots; but the file is small enough you shouldn't need to worry about them anyway.
Essentially, just walk around with the arrow keys, and use 'Enter' to open doors. Straight-forward, no? Also, if anyone who is good at graphics sees this and wishes to do a set of walls for me, or ladders, etc. let me know. I'll give you info on what exactly is needed.
