  1. We'll be releasing the alpha (downloadable demo) in just a few days. :) Please stay tuned!
  2. We won't be providing a demo for about another month (alpha). Ill definitely be posting that here as soon as it's ready. Also, for those of you who have never played Mass Effect, this game won't exclude you. If you like Star Wars or Star Trek this game is right up your alley.
  3. Story The game Mass Effect Chronicles is a fan-game based on Mass Effect 1 and Mass Effect 2 ( © Bioware / EA Games ). The story revolves around three main characters; a Turian, an Asari, and a Salarian. The lives of millions were changed from the Reaper attack on the Citadel, and Commander Shepard of the human race is now missing in action. A new power is rising that could impact the alliances made between several of the species recognized in the galactic. How this new power impacts these alliances will inevitably be up to three individuals. You will take charge of a vessel, gather a team of elite soldiers, tacticians, scientists, and more. Explore the vast galaxy and its many planets. Mine asteroids and mineral deposits. Fight a multitude of enemies. And determine the fate of peace in the galaxy. Characters Name : Vazill Species : Turian Year of Birth : 2140 Role : PC (Intro), NPC (main games) After the obligatory service in the turian military, Vazill had opted to continue working in the military. He's a versatile expert when it comes to weapons. Because of his personality he works best alone or in small teams. Over the years he had often worked with Morwin, a tech-expert with biotic skills, and during that time has established a friendship with him despite their contrasting personalities. Vazill certainly is a fighter to the core, but lacks the ability to lead - and on occasion has an unwillingness to be led. However, it would be fatal to consider him merely a mindless fighting machine, given the circumstances he displays a talent for improvisation as well; admittedly those improvisations often include the use of explosives, but they get the job done. 4. Well, I've been working with Rpg Maker since '95, so I do have a good background in it, but in no way am I skilled at scripting... which is where my current problem lies. In order to add color to the choices (rather than the messages themselves) I would need to alter Ccoa's UMS script... however, I have no idea where to begin with something like that. Which is why I'm here... Fan-games are incredibly difficult to finish, especially if you don't have a good team to work with (or if you're doing it alone). I'm currently working with a team of 10 (feel free to visit the website if you'd like to meet them all). And just for the heck of it, here's some of the stuff we've been working on in the past week. (This is a very new project, only 2 weeks old). One example of our battlers. (Yes, he's a very fit Turian :P ) Our concept/cutscene artist came up with this for one of the main Turian characters. Here's a ship I sprited... Our lead sprite artist's rendition of a Geth Shock Trooper...
  5. Seriously... as I said before... I forgot to mention I was using Ccoas UMS script for my messages. It's not the base script. And the color commands aren't working... hence my asking. *Edit* Tomo2000, thank you for giving me a real reply, I appreciate it... it's a shame it didn't work.
  6. True. I'd still interpret that as getting 'permission' however.

    Im bored

Yea, I clicked it until it couldn't be clicked anymore :( sad...
  8. Should have mentioned I'm using Ccoas UMS. The \C[1] etc... still doesn't work. As for the permission from Bioware... It's your place to decide whether or not you believe me, but if you want to check the project out for yourself go to www.turianproject.com for more details.
  9. Hey guys, I'm currently in the process of creating a Mass Effect Fangame using RMXP (yes, I even have permission from Bioware/EA)... and I was wondering if there's anything I can do to make the top choice blue (paragon) the middle choices white (info) and the bottom choice red (renegade). If this is possible, I'd love to know how. Thank you, ~Norton
