    Hmm, was thinking about making a small 2d action game similar to Zelda II. Does anyone have any maker programs they recommend? I was thinking of just using Game Maker.

      There might be a way to do it with XAS for rmxp, but I don't know for sure.

      There's that one maker the enterbrain has, it even comes with a zelda type demo game.
