  1. Its quite simple. Most characters are going to get an option to upgrade classes upon reaching a certain level, by visiting a certain spot in the game depending on their class. Their improved class is going to gain access to new abilities, higher stats and the ability to weild super weapons you will find throughout the game. I'm just wondering how I should end up setting this event sequence. Any ideas? And as a note, there are going to be several characters for each class type. Each having a focus on different stat types, weapon skils, and whatnot.

    Recolor request.

    Well someone sent me a private with his work on this. and this is what he came up with. This was more what I was aiming for with colors on the image.
  3. Any chance I could get this image recolored? This is very close to a mage character in my game, but he needs white-ish hair and light green robe. Going to be a wind / ice mage image. also if possible, some light blue would be good on the robe. Thanks in advance if anyone can do this.
  4. the idea was the ability is supposed to be faded out if you try to use it more then once.
  5. Trying to figure out how to make a certain spell that basicly makes the user more powerful for a few turns but when it wears off it prevents you from using it the rest of the battle. any ideas on how to set this up?

I had an idea in my game where when you defeat the last boss a special event happens in the main city. a set of statues gets made with each of the main characters on it. only problem is I am rather terrible at recolors. If anyone could help with this I would be greatly appreciative. To help out anyone who takes this I made a template of everything you'll need. (note this is not supposed to be a serious game. which will explain the random characters.) Just need a recolor for the sprites here to fit the statue base. I could probably work the sheet together from there. but if you want to, go ahead. I just need the recolor.

  10. I have been trying to find a script where if your main hero dies its gameover. something like what you see in the fire emblem games. I would make this myself but I am one of the worst script writers you can imagine... I would be greatly appreciative if anyone could point me in a proper direction for a script like this.

    I've been trying to set up a boss fight in my game that is supposed to summon minions that are rather weak and easy to kill. but the thing is if all 3 of them are up the boss is supposed to auto kill everyone in your group. only problem I'm having is he is waiting until next turn to do this instead of immediately like it's supposed to be. any suggestions on what I'm doing wrong?
  15. I decided to modify the battle system a bit for my project and oddly the 1 battle script I am looking for is NOWHERE on the internet....... I checked about 300 different sites and no luck. I was hoping that someone here might have the proper script for this. Basically all I am after is: A script that just shows one of those boxes with the characters face in the battle menu instead of those boring / bland pictures of them. I hate that. That is actually it. If anyone can point me in the proper direction on where to find such a script. tell me please.
  16. Well I found the script for it. I just get an error whenever I try to test the script ingame. (along with every other script I try to put in...........) If anyone knows what im doing wrong. I really could use some help....... Here is the error I keep getting ????? 'Icy Floors' 2 ??? Syntax Error ???????? Same error every time I put any type of script in.
  17. Well when I tried the event on every tile system. it causes the game to lag rather badly........... isn't there a guide on how to make this work with minimal events anywhere? That's what I really need. Edit: and that download seems to not work whenever I try to use it.
  18. I got to a part in my game that requires one of those floor scripts that make it so you can't stop moving in 1 direction until you hit something. same with pushable objects. I am just wondering how to actually do this sort of thing in rpg xp. if anyone knows how to do this please post how. I'll be grateful if you can help.
  19. I've been trying to find a good theme for the main hero in this RPG i've been working on for awhile now. one that isn't in the maker by default and I think I may have found one.......   20. I just finished a major part of my game. the motorcycle for the future zones. (time travel RPG basically) in the game. Only problem is I am having a little trouble with the scripting for dismounting when you enter another map. is there any way I can get this working without having to go back and modify EVERY last teleport event in the game for this to work?

I am not 100% asking anyone to spend awhile on this. but I was wondering if anyone knows where I can find a good motorcycle sprite, one that can be customized to put an RPXP character sprite on. I am not asking anyone to make this. cause I can guess it'll be rather difficult to pull of. I am mostly accepting links to one if anyone here knows of one I can use. But if your feeling up to a challenge you may try to make one. And I can wait awhile if you do try to make it. this is going to be a major part of my game. just not right now, once I get the script set up it will be. Thanks in advance if your able to help out.

Or else I would put that part in myself. No need to give credit to me since it was on the sites image gallery.

    I am working on a market town in the middle of a desert and for this one merchant to work he needs a sombrero, if anyone could add the hat or knows where I can get one so I can add it myself I would be greatly appreciative. I kind of need it soon. Here is the merchant sprite if you can help out with the hat.
