that doesn't really make much sense, but it doesn't sound like what i want. i want something like this... i tell an event to play a BGS. the BGS plays at this volume when the player is x tiles away. the BGS plays louder when the player is x-5 tiles away the BGS is played at 100% volume when the player is right next to the event. that's all i want. very simple, easy to use, no complicated configs. a definitely nothing that needs an entire manual to explain

I'm looking for a script that will let me make things like waterfalls, fountains, etc. that get louder as the player approaches them. I've tried sensor event scripts that trigger something when the player gets within a certain range, but i can't get it to work the way i want. it doesn't lower the volume as the player walks away. It's easy to do this with events, but it takes a lot of them, and is annoying to do. plus it will cause a lot of lag once i put the enemies on the map.

Although it's a side project, FFAce might turn out to be better than Arcatis. Story wise at least. It's unoriginal, but it's also a fan game, so it's not supposed to be too original.

the more of my ideas i apply to the story of THCoA, the more like Harry Potter it is. the main bad guy in the sequel is starting to become Voldemort. Harry is already based on Dumbledore...but that's ok, because the beginning of FFAce is very similar to the beginning of FF7 (the part in Midgar) that's ok, right?

does anyone who's played a link to the past remember the skull dungeon. i hate that place. it's so annoying. cheating an being invincible MIGHT make it more bearable... even having a walkthrough, and knowing what to do next doesn't help a lot. T.T

My best time for LttP is 8 hours, no cheating. Though to be fair I had played the game several times before.

Well...it's over. no more books, no more movies. The best endings are satisfying, but leave you wanting more, and i hate that about them :(

WELL...let's see. i need to finish the Black Knights' HQ, make Mt. Caeli, then another dungeon, then the final dungeon, then the secret bosses, and secret dungeon. then i need to think of a few side quests, and make more NPCs. I hope to be done by the end of the year, but maybe not. oh, and i need to make the bonus cut scenes. and has anyone actually finished the demo? if so, tell me what you think. you'll be able to start where you left off once the game is done, but there may be side quests in places you've already been.
