I'm using RPG Maker XP and have come a long way in solving a number of structural limitations, but I can't figure out how to provide one little nicety that would really give my game some personality: Some sound bytes that party members sometimes spout at random intervals depending upon the environment and/or where you are in the story. It seems complicated enough that a script is going to be necessary: I can't think of an expedient way to make it work within RMXP's framework. I'm not a scripter myself, so I have no idea how to approach this problem. Any help anybody could give me would be great.
