the reason why it goes that way its because rmxp always divides it into 4 same size borders for the sprite. look at this RMVX sprites are different compared to RMXP sprites. RMVX only uses 3 borders while the latter uses 4. Here i will show a RMXP sprite format with 4 borders. Problem is, it still need to fill up the blank spaces. A "motivated" spriter can complete this sprite. Are you sure youre using RMXP for this sprite?

I think Jon Bon's version is better. Look at the armor and hair differences. I think someone should post the work here instead of pm's.

wow i like the way the hair has been edited but robe seems a bit yellowish.

i think Gimp and Mspaint can do the trick by changing the hue. Just seperate the parts that needs recoloring. what part of the image should be color light blue?

So now im moving on to start another "dream" project. The game has a "Diary Making" part. The player needs to write a diary every day passed or else the story will not progress. Every entry has group of pre-made sentences that should been displayed at the end of the game. It should be chornological. Im thinking about scripts that can do this. I need help. Update: I think I found a script for this so dont bother reading this thread anymore .

okay i think the sprite is finished. ive been testing this several times alongside with rmxp sprites. in the end i thought this sprite looks unfitting to them. i done my best for this. i dont know if i can improve it. i think its okay for now.

Wow are you the one who painted that? It seems like you wouldn't need a spriter anymore if you did that.

i usually go to this site http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri/intro.aspx. this site has popular games(mostly high end games) that will automatically test your cpu if it can play a specific game. i test it and now i know that i cant play ffix . please dont say a game "sucked" or a waste of money. the game has good graphics though and you still dont know if it will catch your attention. let the big guys do this for you.

the reason why i make this thread is because i found out that theres a new version of Fighter Factory (version 3). They said its a lot better and easier than previous ones and i search for it in google what i found out is it seems theres no major tutorials for it maybe people who are just using it are now satisfied that they dont really make such basic tutorials for it and let the other people doomed for life. i used fighter factory before. what i was done so far was only a (2 frames)standing animation, a (2 frames)soft punch animation, (3 frames)hadouken-like animation and that was all because whats really pissing me is why is this program has a lot sprite requirements. The said animation requirement is not an issue for me but there are those unexplained files, the pallette thing and on top of that it has bad gui. Time is not a problem for all of us. It still depends on people.

Im trying to download Mugen as you know it is not related to rpg but still its a fighting game maker. I like it because you can use your creativity for your desired character. I am not good at fighting games actually. What I just want is to make unseen tv characters fighting themselves in mugen too and that should be really cool! About a year ago i tried to make a character for Mugen engine from a zero start but I failed so badly. I am now going to try it again this time as I hope someone can help me. Has anyone here knows about Mugen? Or anyone here has made a character for it?

The story seems so mysterious and decent so far like a fairy tale. Good style of intro though but the child doesn't attract me much and I like to change the dragons as enemies maybe something unique. Tell us more about the child bcoz it will carry the game. I think it will be hard to implement minecraft's concept to rpg maker. I play minecraft as building of a bunch of constructions in whole time without thinking about stories. Will you include the building concept to rpg maker?

I cant test it bcoz Im still dont have VX Ace but i thinks its possible. it worked in Rpg Maker xp so most likely it will work on Rpg VX Ace. I will struggle to think for a story with minecraft and Rpg maker together maybe bcoz theyre on different edges but I dont know if it will be interesting. What do you think of a story for minecraft so far? I want to know please.

I tested your script and i can say its great too. I'm looking forward to it. Im concern more about the sprite since i understand how it works, i will ask if its okay when your facing upward the pickaxe will just overlay on the character? it looks weird. and i also hope it has sounds while mining or woodcutting too. i find it really incomplete.

I like the gods conflict. This is somehow simple and straight. I am assuring that one of these days we or I will be making something like similar to that 2 gods or 2 nations conflict. Good thing you post your game in time. I just dont like the name of the towns. It seems like I'm just living in Europe or England or maybe its just me. Those maps are fine. You presented the main character well. I like the mentor but you need to intro him as well. Theres something intrigues me more. Does the half of the gameplay will be focus more on supplies? It seems that you just tells us about farm, minings and fishing town and nothing more about those towns.

After the last episode of season 2 of the series I decided to make a sprite of a white walker that has been shown at the end of the episode. i dont know if i will use it anyway i just want to make something about this great tv series and i want to read all of its books desperately even if im not a book enthusiast. And its Daenerys Targaryen(the mother of dragons). Im not totally impressed bcoz shes not that georgious as she should be.
