  1. Ah, that worked. Thank you very much. This seems like such a stupid question now. :sweatdrop: Sorry, I'm really new to this.
  2. Thank you, but when I set the screen color tone down all the way, everything goes black and I want my character sprite to still be visible. And yes, I am a huge newb. :P
  3. Hi, in RPG Maker XP I'm trying to create a scene where a character is in a room, and the map temporarily fades to black and all you can see is the character sprite but I can't figure out how to do this. Is this even possible to do? If so, I would greatly appreciate help. Thank you.
  4. Adding RPGXP to the Data Execution Prevention list worked perfectly! Thank you so much. :biggrin_002:
  5. According to Task Manager, when my mouse turns into the loading icon, RPGXP.exe is running but as soon as my cursor goes back to normal, the process shuts down.
  6. Let me start off by saying that I am new here, so if this is in the wrong section or I messed something else up, I'm very sorry. I installed RPG Maker XP a while ago on my 64 Bit Windows 7 computer, and it worked fine but I never got around to learning the program. Today I wanted to try it again, but when I double clicked on the RPG Maker XP icon, my mouse turned into that loading icon, then nothing happened. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling RPG Maker, I've checked the compatibility mode box, I've tried running as administrator, I've tried allowing RPG Maker to go through the Firewall and I've tried disabling my Firewall, but nothing has worked. Any help with this problem would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much. ~Jason
