A healthy kid needs multiple sources of entertainment. Inspiration Comes from many places and a young mind not yet knowing what it wants needs to be exposed to all possible artforms. The way to how long is an independent estimation. But I say give him more then just games but your mother is still crazy. Im an avid Gamer almost to addicted levels but I was never fat...lol

I think If they make a new engine (agian) It should be super customizable allowing us to take features from any RPg maker in the series and add it. Then they need ann official Forum cause lets face it Most RM sites suck with douchbags. Out the hundreds I only like a handfull. and the idea of making game creating easier would go hand in hand with some sort of collection forum where we can tell them what features we want in the maker.(and then instead of revamping the entire program they can sell the feature as some sort of add on. More security/ better games/ Better community... Then maybe some kinda effort to make these games more relevant(and worth) making. Also despite how long it takes to do so , everyone wants to make their game. Despite whether there game is just meh or worse. We need to encourage team efforts. My first game I had one guy edit it and even though the game was just a nice practice and not a spectacular thing(never getting out of demo length) It was fun as hell. People need to be more willing to stick to online teams and make games That are actualy quite good and fun. A flash program game maker {stencyl} Tell you when your friends are on the irc. Makes it really easy to create teams or just get help at a moments notice. Actually Enterbrian Could learn alot from the stencyl program...heheh. A must for me is unlimited layers. I want more in respects to sound Design tools. I always wanted Sounds to change based on certian regions. (like footsteps changing when your running on wood to sand.. or echos when your in a cave.

I love cartoons always have. Aladdin, one of the best. Btw nothing is actualy made {for} any specific demographic. Its just edited with the genres typical audience in mind.for instance Disneys audience isnt children; its for adults. Subject matter in the lion king Murder Segregation Extermination Dictatorship These are common in movies; Specifically gory action flicks the musical element was meant to add a Shakespearean atmosphere.Dramaticizing the events on screen.And a perfect example of this is the hunchback of notre dame They did not erase all the Darkness needed but dulled it down so its not vulgar. The idea is to make art, they just prefer their art non-vulgar cause their main audience is children. The editing tries to make it something cartoon lovers will take, which happen to be children. Thus these themes are adult in nature but not blunt enough to suck the enjoyment out of the audience that happens to not understand those themes. Imagine actualy making something {for} children. Really youd end up with pokemon. No need to write extrodinarily well, recycle old plots, show some flashy pokemon designs build ups all simple.And yet even it is appealing to adults, regardless of nintendos love of children. yeah I went there lol

I also agree I wisely listened to alot of tuts and still do(mianly about scripts) The rudness or just emptyness of sites can be a bugger. I once got trolled off of blizzards site just for being named rose [apparently there was no more room in their tiny brians for another rose}very confrontational bunch. The best two sites Ive found were Save-point and this one here. RRR is simply to big for me I cant do the omg look at all the people type sites.
