  1. Happy Birthday :)

  2. Happy Birthday, sorry for the late "Happy".

  3. Here's a tutorial, written by Phasedscar. Pretty much teaches you the basics about color, and palettes. Another tutorial for basic recoloring by legacyblade.
  4. Both. Not the color yellow. But you apply to much saturation, and sometimes remove too much. Other times you add too much light, and dark. You should have a minimum of 4 colors, plus 2 for highlights (for small sprites like this).
  5. The ones on the front. No that's not what I meant. I was asking if this will walk in a spider form, and I guess it is. Practice makes perfect. ^^ Few things you should consider. The head on the back ruins the other frames, so edit it a bit to make it separate from the whole neck (like the other frames). The claws on the side is blurred, so fix it if you can (and recolor it to watch the dragon it, or the other way around). Yep, that's pretty much it. You got it half right, but your choice of colors are still a problem. :\
  6. Chimera is only a name, it can be anything you want. ^_^ Now that looks a lot better in terms of spriting, not the name 'Chimera'. Recolor the legs, so it can match the body. You have the give shape to the elbow (or knee?), the legs on the back look fine. But I recommend changing the feet to a front view, unless you want it to walk in a spider like form. This is what I meant. (Just noticed that someone sent it to you. =P)
  7. To offer some other than a comment, I'll give you some criticism (or advice, pick what suites you best =D). First off all, your recoloring only looks as if you changed the hue all together. That's a okay I guess, but doesn't make the sprite look less natural. First, assemble a proper palette, then recolor each piece of the sprite rather than changing the color all together. The demon magic animation is good, just requires shading is all. Your 'Chimera' is creative, I'll admit that but its just a bunch of sprite pieces that are placed horribly together. Be logical here, a sprite has to have anatomy (unless its a slime or related).
  8. I prefer scripting, since it makes the game look nice and clean. Eventing is good for basic uses, or for uses that are easier made with events than scripts.
  9. Not a likely topic name... Hello RMXP Unlimited members. My username is DeathLock, a few info about me: - I'm male. - Anime fan. - Grammar freak! - RMXP user, for one year, or more. - Experienced in all forms of RMXP, but an RGSS beginner. - Bloody gore lover. So, hello again.
