I plugged my modem directly into my laptop, bypassing the router all together, and still didn't work. Could you explain how to telnett?

Soooo what's the fix? Thousands of people Googling this exact same problem have yet to find a single solution. Enterbrain support is no help, said they don't have any solutions even though half of their customers have the same problem.
