    So i have slowly but surely been figuring things out, is there something specific i have to do to allow events to happen when you click the action button cause when i set events, nothing happens. ive tried doing it by touch and action button but the events do not work.

    Thank you for all the help but to answer some things, I've actually used rpg maker xp alot, but i wanted to make my own pokemon game for my friends to download and play and such when they are board, i know how to do all the things on rpgmaker xp, just the pokemon thing is way more difficult lol, creating trainer battles on there has a lot to it. so I'm a bit confused.

    So I've been watching a lot of tutorials and for some reason when i do anything that is stated in the tutorials, i get an error that crash's my test play game, and Since i'm new im very confused. I'll keep trying and let everyoone know what other problems i encounter, if anyone can help or if there is a guide to getting started please let me know, as i have searched and read the extended text. Thanks :)

    So i downloaded the pokemon starter kit, and don't know where to start using it. Everything is a bit confusing.
