I am a 18 year old from Australia, and will be attending UNI in 2012 as a computer science student.

Not really sure what else to say... How about my experience with gaming and game making?
When it comes to gaming Im not the heaviest gamer, I've never even played Final fantasy. (Seems to surprise people?) but im pretty heavy into PC gaming, and Pokemon :o Currently trashing Skyrim's many rabbits for entertainment and experiencing the epic wonders of Anno 2070.
When it comes to game design I have had a little practice with both RPGM XP and VX but that was years and years ago when i was younger... And i did game design as part of a bridging IT cause, along with programming, 3D modeling and other things.
I am also a creative writer, mostly doing short stories or RP, hopefully i can channel that into game development.
So why am I getting back into game designing again and this community? Well eventually, down the track some where I have two goals. One is to get into the game industry, what as? still deciding, I guess ill figure that out when I'm more experienced in various fields. I enjoy coding, albeit I've only done basic coding and scripting to produce rudimentary programs and web pages. I hope to get some experience in game design by doing this... even if i dont end up in the gaming industry specifically I'm sure this hobby will be both fun and help develop general IT skills.
I do have a project that I'm starting, that I am currently calling 'Revival' although that name might change. Its currently no where near being ready for even putting up in the developers space, but if anyones interested I'm open for presenting what i have so far story and plot wise. In the process of writing up quest lines and building a plot. Feel free to ask, often found a good way of getting new ideas is telling others about the ones you already have :D
So yeah... I think thats a long intro... a bit too long maybe. So Ill leave it how it is.
