50 bucks from my 09 return....first year of work, first taste of government hey!hey james! f*** you! well, that and airforce rotc screwed me out of a ribbon...anywhoooooooooooo not yet, got my first w2 the other day, of course my second from teh first job waits till teh last day to mail cause they are douches...lets hope its big though! and itl go to things liek gas, insurance and tuition...*sigh* i want some paly money.. stupid life...

i already have a thousand ideas. currently im making a survey and i have two locations. imgonna hand the survey to eveyone i see in a 5 mile radius and get a ton of data and give it to the score office to see chances of success in each area. to advertise, ill be goin to the local news stations,. i knwo of two and getting interviews, plus teh paper, plus going around handing out 50 cent rolls of pennies with the name of the arcade and the address/phone number on it, as well as giving free plays to kids under a certain age, weekend open, huge game tournament, im thinkin tekken original, then a lock in for the night of pure gaming fun :D everntually i plan on building up into a multi storied arcade, the view of down town tulsa is sooo amazing, an elevated glass walled room would be absolutly perfect :D im so excited :D:D:D lol anyway...tourny, already palnned :P ty tho :D also, adding skeeball, and those kinds of games later on as revenue grows ^^

bump....really guys? nothin..? ok so heres what i got so far.. 30 games, all lined up for the arcade, priced and i have my provider, the total comes out to 66600 jsut for the games, 50 to register them. also going to have a game shop, so if anyone knows of any wholesale game shops online, let me know. on top of that, a juice bar, a lounge and some computers people can use for a small hourly fee. in the lounge, people can go hang out and even play the games they jsut bought or brought, whichever, and the machines are gonna be 1 cent, 50 cent and 100 dollar machines, pending the game. also building mech pods with special controls for games like mech warriors. free wi-fi, all that fun stuff. Is there anything else you guys can help me with or think of to draw people in?

ok so i need a huge huge huge favor to ask of everyone here. Me and my friend are trying to start an arcade in our town, the problem is i cant find shit for laws or rules or anything, iv tried to contact the gaming companies, most of which have no way to even contact them anyway, which is kinda wtf. Anyway, we want to build our own boxes for the games with our own systems for reasons i cant exactly explain due to it being the creative idea we need to get secured b4 soemone can jack it. What i need to know is game liscnece rules for the old arcade games, what i need to pay for, whats free, what the special rules are for your own machines since we arent buying thiers, etc. iv looked for hours and i cant find anything at all, PLEASE HELP!

true. hmm up to him really, but those are the two ways to do it

try soemthing like this when your actually doing the sprite, you barely wanna see a color change. try moving your sliders up by 15 shades each time and see how that goes. it might not look like much, or anything at all, but when you zoom out, they blend well. also, your using kaisers and i noticed these pick up detail alot easier tehn the rtp i use, so large gaps using teh same color are noticable, like you can see on the jeans ok, no idea why it loaded like that, and its to small to see...lot of help i was..sorry T.T

you want brutally honest? K! the dark to lights way to drastic, you didnt blend anythign very well and the hair looks like its all one color cause theres no contrast. aaaaaaand now to help! ok when your doing light hair such as that, the zig zags you did there need to be darker. when it comes to the jeans and shirt, you went to drastic, just move the sliders up a tiny bit do it isnt so noticably clear cut in shading. ill make and post an example. first sprite, not bad , i give you a b here is a halfish done jill valentine that still needs alot of work...look at wesker though and how i blended the colors. what graphics editor are you using to sprite? ok these are hard to see, and jill looks like total crap...grr. ill use yours and modify it i suppose

well theres pros and cons for each then, as with anything. random- fast, easy, no pattern and is more natural in that aspect, less natural cause this guys doin circles in the road and no one knows why, eventing a path takes longer, looks better but has a pattern, and im the kind of guy that walks with an npc, juuuust to see lol, but that tells me the maker spent more time on the project, pending the path, if its jsut a square over and over then nah. anywhooo, if it was right to left then disappear like your maps, that could easiely work and take little more time then random walking.

wouldnt making a movement route for each citizen take forever, on top of that, if you wanted them to walk all over the city, it would have to be extremely long and the end would have to be at the begining so the cycle could repeat, and on top of that, if the cycles are to blocky or the characters spend enough time in the city they will notice patterns. i think different frequencies and move speeds at random would have the best affect.
