  2. I don't know if it is possible, and I am ripping my hairs out of my head over this. IS THERE A WAY to turn that god forsaken run and jump feature off and on?! There are no notes in teh script and its looks like gibberish to me. If there isn't, can someone modify to make it so? I wanted to make a swamp, and when you go into the deeper areas I wanted run and jump to turn off. I mean, you can't really RUN when you're knee-deep in crud, can you? And is it setting the movement speed at all times? I can't seem to make my character slow down. I want him to walk SLOWLY in the deep swamp, but even when I set an event to force his movement to "2", he just keeps going at his default pace. I tell it SPECIFICALLY if he is standing on terrain tag 1, he is to move SLOWLY. Nope, just walks like he's on normal flat land. :/
  3. I am listing this as Full because I suppose it's a little of both mod and completely new script. I figured I should probably request this sooner rather than later, because it might get more complicated if I implement it into my game later. (I'm only on the first few maps) Also, the scripts I am using at the moment: Blizzard Bestiary, Blizzard Analyze? (Goes together) GaveUpTomorrow CMS 8 Direction Pixel Movement Troop Treasures Now, for the request: (It's a little long as I am trying to explain as best I can what I need) I'm assuming this is part CBS. Also part CMS. This will modify how a few characters will battle. So, if a gun is equipped, each attack will use 1 bullet. Like an alternate SP kinda thing. Refilling this requires the use of a skill called Reload. The skill will check to see what ammo you are using (see gun modifications), and will check your inventory for it. If you have it, it will subtract it by 1 and completely refill that value. Some skills will use more than one bullet, some weapons will use more than one in a normal attack or use a certain type altogether, it all depends on the gun used, and/or the modifications made to it. (I'm using the default battle system at the moment) There is only one modifiable gun, which is force-equipped to the main character. When you go to change his weapon in the equip screen, a new menu should pop up. This would be the modifications menu. Here, you can swap out parts for varied effects. Some might bestow certain skills ONLY while it is equipped to the gun, perhaps others unlocked only while two certain parts are equipped. Some of these parts will change the type of ammo you will use. They all have varied effects. The types of parts would be as follows: Scope - Accuracy. Accuracy for the main character could be effected by terrain tag. So if you are in a cavern, you'd want to use an Infrared Scope as it would be too dark to otherwise aim properly. This added accuracy would only be applicable on that specific terrain tag made for that specific scope. I'm also planning for one specific scope to bestow the analyze skill (Blizzard's Analyze and Bestiary Scripts). Barrel - Each has a different effect. Some are better suited to give better damage against certain monster types, while others widen the range of fire (as in multiple targets, but these also lower the damage, splitting it between all that are hit by it) Clip - This can improve how much ammo you can use before needing to use Reload. Some hold specific ammo types, and need to be equipped alongside the companion part that uses a skill that needs that type. Some ammo types will give the chance of inflicting status effects, some even having the percentage effected by the scope being used. Energy Core - These would be exceptionally rare parts with varied effects. Things like being able to enhance the damage of elemental skills. One will allow it to shoot beams of concentrated energy, and as such, would consume no ammunition to use. Also, certain skills will require a certain level or stat number to be reached before it becomes available, even if the corresponding part is equipped. I am aware there are many scripts pertaining to guns and ammo, but I'm not sure they would be able to fit what I'm looking for, nor even be compatible with the customizations I'm looking for here. I'm not very knowledgeable on scripts, but if any of you can help with this I would be grateful. I'm sure other people could use this as well, as I believe it's a pretty interesting system. Also, I'm using GaveUpTomorrow's CMS, so it's be neat if you could integrate the gun customization into this. And as a bonus, but not required, maybe add a key items section. ------------------ There. Maybe you know of other scripts usable to make creation of this easier, I don't know.
