Anyone? I am literally willing to PAY a scripter to make this happen. BUMP.

Stolen from previous post but heres my spin on things: Loading speed... Overall great, rarely does the page take long at all. Bugs... Nothing really, but there are a few broken project links in the resources section. Design.. very simple and clean, I like it, however I think that it could be stylized a bit more. tl;dr - While it works great and isn't an eyesore, it doesn't stand out other than the logo. Navigation... very well planned, more likely to get lost in a wet paper bag. Load button... has a great purpose, though I usually manually look at articles section by section, the button is a godsend if I need to get caught up with whats new. Forum structure... perfect. Enough said. The reason I joined.... as I said in my intro letter, I have been around since RMXPU, but I remade my account and couldn't be happier. The site... it has many functions but I am here for RMXP, since it is what I use, however I feel that every indie programmer has a safe haven here. What I'm looking forward to... the project and team management system. need need need. Overally... I think things are headed in the right direction, and I hope to contribute as much as I can.

Bump. I plan on paying monies to someone for undertaking this project. If anyone knows a good scripter who could help please send them my way :)

Any and all help is amazing. I am not expecting miracles, just hoping to get this done sometime over the next month or so. If anyone needs anymore details or is still confused about what I am looking for, feel free to ask.

Alright, I know I am going out on a limb here but I need two scripts made. I find both to be.... lets say "work for an ambitious scripter" As, extra incentive to accomplish the task, I am willing to pay someone via pay pal for a working product. Script One - Mag System This idea is from Phantasy Star Online. You essentially have a graphic that follows being your character on screen (ala Caterpillar follow actor script) that is called a MAG. The mag gives your character stat boosts like an equipment. However, there is a menu, where you can 'feed' the mag consumable items, in doing so you raise the stats of your Mag, once you feed it enough it 'levels up' changing the graphic of the mag during scene_map as well as increasing the boosts it give your character. I only need the main character to have a mag so I would only want him to get the boosts. Script Two - Transformation This idea is simple. There needs to be a gauge in the battle system (I am using Charlie Fleed's CTB battle system). During one point in the game the main character is given an artifact that enables him to unleash his ultimate powers at will. Doing so changes his battler graphic and changes his skill list to something else. However, every move that he uses in battle while transformed fills the gauge, if the gauge ever goes to 100% there is a 'battle cutscene and the character dies, game over. Whats more, nowhere in the game will you be able to get an item that reduces the gauge so from the beginning of the game until the end you must use the powers wisely and conserve it for bosses and tough situations. If you need more details or are unsure of what I am asking for feel free to message me here or we can have a skype meeting. :P Thanks GDU!

This is very good news, I would be happy to test this feature when it releases. I am attempting to get this game to run on Mac OS and Android when finished through Cloud networking on OnLive. Hopefully this game will bring alot of players to see that indie gaming truly is where all the fun is these days.

Thanks guys I really appreciate the support! Another reason why I have considered RMXPU and Creation Asylum my second homes in form of programming hang out spots for years. The game will be free for demo and support nearly 100% custom graphics and sounds (not using any game rips or RTP) so that will be a plus. Once I get a chance to release some spoilers I will be adding it to the Team forums and opening up positions for spriters and musicians. :3 Thanks everyone at GDU for being so awesome!

Hey GDU, although I did have an account back in the days of RMXPU, I went on hiatus from game dev due to school and then subsequently my job. However there is just a void that can't be filled by anything shy of making a game happen. After a break from the game dev scene I took time to explore multiple coding languages and graphics design areas that I previously didn't have time or dedication to finish. That being said, I went from having roughly 36 certifications in different fields of computing, to having well over 65. With the freshly obtained skills and a growing indie team, I am looking forward to my project that has been lying in wait since around 07. I am still looking for more help as always, but I think the roughly 20% of the game developed so far is a step in the right direction for what I want to release, and I am happy to have GDU there along the way to help and inspired me and others to complete the games of their dreams!
