Heroes of Cataclysm
Story
Once, in an age long forgotten, there was a great war that destroyed an entire civilization. The battle that raged for hundreds of years with seemingly no end took countless lives and came to be known as the Diamante Rouge. The four kingdoms who waged against each other fought for the same goal, but each for different reasons. These reasons were not enough to earn the justification of two key figures in the war, a healer by the name of Gallerian Magus and a mercenary named Balgruf who held the title of "Shadowbane." When the two kindred souls met, they swore an oath to end the constant warfare once and for all.
Throughout the arduous journey, the two met others who would help them end the constant warring: Amadeo, the Swordsman of the Red River
Rillianne, the Witch of the North
Pierce, the Marksman of Divine Luck
Iska, Mother Nature's Guardian
The six banded together and, through their combined strength, were able to find a way to end the war once and for all. The source came from a seer by the name of Kayou. However, although she provided the prophecy which would end the war, she also warned them that the end of the war would bring about something much more cryptic:
"When the Elder Star dies, and when the blade separates the Brothers of Oath, the Day of Judgment will arise. And all who inhabit the realm of life will face their end."
Upon hearing her words, the six heroes brought an end to the Diamante Rouge and brought about peace. Gallerian Magus, however, was not content. He knew that the peace would not last forever, so he sought a way to achieve a utopia and prevent the prophecy stated by the seer. After months of searching, he found it. He knew that in order to achieve his utopia, he would need to achieve immortality. Gaining Balgruf as his ally, he recited the forbidden ritual and murdered Iska, along with countless other lives, absorbing their power and achieving immortality for the two. Amadeo, Rillianne, and Pierce, shocked by Gallerian and Balgruf's betrayal, took up arms once more and headed into battle to end their madness...
None were ever heard from again.
Now, many an era later, strange happenings were beginning to brew across the fabric of space and time... Leading up to the very fate of the universe.
