Apologies for the delay - my computer blue screened and had to be returned to factory settings etc., took a while to get things set up again. Attached should be my attempt at a VX TARDIS sprite, hope that it fits okay with the tilesets etc. If the format is incorrect or there are (minor) improvements to make, let me know :)

Unfortunately, I've never made a tileset from scratch and have only done minor edits, so not sure I can help with that. For the TARDIS sprite, what size are you wanting it to be? I'd assume door = height of character, then roof detail/perspective above that.

If there aren't options in the VX character builder that come close enough for use as the Doctor/Clara, I could have a go in the next few days at those? I can also try tweaking my existing sprite/making a new VX-style TARDIS sprite. Doubt I'll be able to help with tileset, I'm afraid. For the character faces you may be best off cropping a screenshot and using that rather than a drawn one.

In the past I've made a TARDIS icon/character graphic that's in the resources gallery (http://www.gdunlimited.net/forums/gallery/image/5306-tardis/). It's for RPGM XP, but I don't know whether you can easily edit it to the right size for VX in MS Paint or similar by removing a middle portion to squash it to the smaller size..? They aren't posted, but I think I still have item icons for sonic screwdriver and psychic paper if those are likely to be helpful.

I could have a go at adding a cane and possibly wrinkles etc. to a base sprite for you; not sure about hunching over and arm behind back but can give it a go (though are you intending to then draw on all clothing specially for those sprites?). If you want the figures similar to the one you posted rather than the default RTP sprite base, would you be able to link to wherever you found the picture? Trying to open it in game character hub to edit and it's too small for the software to use as a base!

Do you mean you'd like that sprite base edited to have grey hair and a similar female version?

Overall, really enjoyed it :) Liked the fact that you could pick which character was going to learn the summon rather than it being preassigned

Got to the end of the demo; mostly great, but found a couple more small things... 1) on the ship, event with Shugo after the first conversation with Lilith ran once, spoke to him again & it ran a second time, then he joined the party and could continue 2) in the dimension, could walk off the end of one of the first platform you get to through the columns 3) after the dimension scene, Zeik had lost the ability to summon 4) the event outside the commander's building will trigger if you speak to the guard; it then freezes as he turns and tries to walk through the wall

Haven't gotten very far through the demo yet, but found two things - after you've completed the first 'quest' of doing the on-farm tasks for your uncle, the blue spark for the parcel is there before you speak to him. Izeikial's speech after his uncle dies is slightly flawed - he says something like "my uncle taught me that no matter what you have to keep pushing forwards no matter what", which sounds clunky. Otherwise, seems great so far :)

I don't think you need to download any extra images - once I used the correct script, the effects just happened. They are random weather effects, though, so might just be chance that you're not seeing any in the time you're testing your game? Not sure why the time wouldn't work (not good with scripting etc.) but is it possible that you're skipping the trigger time somehow? If you have the script set so that night comes at 22:00, and you jump to 1:00, you'd miss the time that tells the script 'now tint the screen'. -

Downloaded the .NET framework, think probably already had it, script still appearing not to work - do I need to have any other scripts added, or edit any other scripts to get it to work? -

I used the configuration.exe to generate the script. Not sure what other requirements you're referring to? -

On the offchance that anyone is still watching this topic, does anything extra have to be done to get the script to work beyond exporting it from the configuration app & adding it to the game's scripts? (Not getting any error messages, game plays as normal but can't see clock, don't appear to be getting tint/weather, 'game' is just the default new game, no added scripts etc. that might be interfering)
