I am using GubiD's Tactical Battle System with RPG Maker XP and I can't seem to get the hit and miss animations to play correctly. I have the animations set up just like the way I do in the default battle system and it works fine, the "hit" animation plays when a successful hit occurs and doesn't when a miss occurs. But for some reason this is not the case with BTBS. While playtesting with GTBS, the hit animations do not play even though a hit occurs (I see the damage pop up). If I set the animation to play with "NONE" instead of hit or miss, it plays on hits and misses though. I've looked through the GTBS script over and over again for something that influences the animations playing in this way but can't seem to figure this out. I made my game off the GTBS demo and everything is pretty much the same as far as settings in the demo go. Any help will be appreciated in solving this confusing issue.
