Heroman

Im looking for a script or script tutorial that can replicate the LoZ: Link to the Past mapping where the screen is centered on the character until the toon reaches the edge of the map and then it scrolls. I have seen a lot of zelda scripts where the map pans or scrolls like i'm looking for, but the map is always limited to whats currently on the screen (i don't know if that makes much sense).
