After reading this topic though just wanted to point out another alternative: MyBB (http://www.mybboard.net) its really like vBulletin only not bloated and much easier to use... oh yeah, and its free :D I'd definitely recommend you check it out. As long as you have a backup of the forums there is a MyBB Merge system from IPB > Mybb

Anything can become a story for your game. The game could be about something going on in your life, your family or friends, anything! It's not really that hard to think of an idea, the trouble is coming up with the entire game that is based on that idea. You can take a "shortcut" by using an already created game world, like Pokemon or Zelda, and create a sequel to your favorite game series, or create a new "chapter" for your favorite series like a Final Fantasy XXXXXXXXXXV or something. Additionally, you may be able to look at this site: http://www.gamediscovery.com/ideas/ to get some ideas. These are actual peoples' stories, so don't just steal them. Make sure to credit them for the story, or better yet even contact them via email! I'm sure the person would be ready to collaborate with you in designing the entire game. If all else fails, maybe something at that site will at least spark something and give you a killer idea for a story! Good luck!

Thanks for the welcome! :D Anime/Games: well I listed my fav games up there I pretty much like any RPG. I just finished Mario Galaxy (not really an RPG though, lol) and I'm waiting for a lot of games right now, Tales of Symphonia II and Harvest Moon. As for anime, I pretty much stopped watching "good ones" since they started ripping them off youtube when I was half way through a series.... but I'd say my favorites are Rurouni Kenshin, Naruto, Death Note, and Digimon. I get Shonen Jump but I skip through most of it to Naruto and Bleach. I'd anger a lot of Anime fans if I mentioned the ones I skip over specifically... :lol: Again, thanks for the welcome, I see this place isn't as active but I like it better! More professional looking, its not offline constantly, there's not insane amounts of boards and categories here either (another annoying thing for me) and theres not weird "insider-only" moderator jokes all over the place. I can't wait to upload my project here too or make a thread for feedback. I'm currently stumped at making an introduction to the game! its weird cause I have it all planned out but I just can't make a good introduction sequence that isn't boring or cheesy (I've made like 10 already and deleted them <_< ) but after I get that sorted out I can put up a demo for feedback!

Hi there! I'm 'Lorddonk'. You may know me from other RMXP sites. I was pretty active at .ORG specifically but the maturity level there is really low... I also don't "get" the humor the moderators there have for spamming their own forums with weird jokes and bathroom humor and then banning users who follow their bad example.... but yeah... enough of that, though. Interests? Anime, games (i have a Wii and DS) and of course game making. I'm currently working on 2 games and a website for them! My favorite game is Super Mario RPG Legend of the Seven Stars for SNES and the only ones close to it are Tales of Symphonia and Baten Kaitos for Gamecube. I also like writing stories too, my main game titled Moon Guardians is based on almost 700 pages of random notes, scripts and ideas. (I'd guesstimate cause I have 1 500 page binder full and about half of the next one full @_@) So I hope to see y'all around and I'll try to help out and post when I can!
