I think the biggest concern is project creep, even if you start small. Most developers inevitably realize how much better their project can be as they progress along. It's even tougher for beginners. You have to make sure the game is fun for other people to play. Perhaps you shouldn't worry about the project size and just start with whatever motivates you. How long can your motivation run...? You'll need a lot of motivation to complete a game alone. But you can always consider adding teammates later. Best of luck to you :)

The 1 Week Bing Challenge

Yeah, my only experience with Bing was through MSN. So that explains that. I'm testing it out, and I don't see much of a difference, either. Good to know. (Edit) So I just found 1 point for Bing - supermarket blitz brought up Blitz campaign (what I was looking for); whereas Google didn't. They bring up such different pages. I got a Youtube video from Google for blitz supermarket tho'... interesting. -

I admittedly hate Bing, because it takes twice as many clicks to actually get to a page result. Doesn't the first search just bring up more topics to search (or maybe I'm confusing it with MSN...)? Anyway, maybe I'll try Bing again; it's a smart promotion. Thanks for bringing it up. -

Glad to hear you liked the characters. That's quite a compliment from a fellow writer. Thanks for the support!

Awesome. Thank you! Cool! Thanks again, everyone. Super glad to be here.

Thank you for the kind welcome. If you some saw art you liked, I can put you in touch with the artist who made it. I only have pathetic stick-drawing skills, so I can't take any requests. The only thing I can offer is an online game writing course. I offer that for free to reviewers (it's going through an update currently and I could use some feedback). Let me know what you need.

I always scope out "Top 10" game lists hoping to find something new I haven't tried yet. Child of Light by Ubisoft has made my personal "Top 10" List as of late; but it'll probably never be one of the most played games in the world. I still think it's a masterpiece all-around. Great fun, and local co-op was great, too.
