There caused from having things like ".", "?". There from having some type of symbols in it. so if you create a topic with a title like "help." it will return a 404. But its only caused by Latest Posts, and Recently Added Topics. If you use the View New Content button at the top right of the page instead you wont get 404's

Thats the exact same thing they are going to do so dont waste your money on useless repair companies for something you can do your self for free. All your going to need to do is buy an enclosure for your laptop HDD for $20 and pay for shipping for the recovery CD. Its very simple, get the disk and insert it and start up your computer and insert your information and click next on 3 windows and your done. If you get the stuff i can help you with everything.

Insert your CD that came with your computer to restore the operating system. If it didnt come with one try to contact Toshiba and request one.
