I will be getting a new Apple Leopard Computer. Will it work with the RMXP program. It has the nivia GForce 9400M in it. It will also be partitioned for Windows as well. I have windows 7 in my back up computer. I am using now. Talk to you later in the near future. Happy New Year to everyone.

Chief, Just because we maybe a little older than you. We still like to learn all we can about other things in the world. I really enjoy RPGMaker and find it extremely interesting. There are other women my age that are actually trying to help protect you younger gammers from being overwhelmed from people that would not want you to play. Several of us have joined and are gamming with the rest of you on your online games. To many people get hurt and cast aside there dreams of becoming programmers. The best way to learn about programming is to dive in and get yourself really wet. RPGMaker was the first group that I started out with. Now that I am seeing what these games can offer our young, I am totally committed to helping others see their dreams. There are a lot of gamers out there that do not understand that details that goes into games. I have met several and have become close friends with them. They are trying their best to understand how programmers can get these characters to battle each others. One young man is trying to learn all he can, but lacks several areas of knowledge. He is gettting bettter, and now understands that programing kills off his character if he does something wrong. This young man happens to be deaf. He and many others have had no one to explain to them what is really going on. Some of these people are very smart, but as I said have no one to explain what prgramming does to a game. They actually believe that they are being attacked by monsters. If you have no one to explain these things to you, how are you to learn. I am still trying to learn programming myself and I have acutally been able to go do the mappings and events. If you are really interested in gaming, online or otherwise, try to encourage others to join in and save this fantastic world for others to come. Marked, When I first saw that squid-like character I was delighted. He just has the perfect personality to make any gammer laugh. Your Battlers are always excellent. I have been looking for a three legged squid-like character for a long time. Thank you for sharing them all with the rest of us. The top battler looks like a potatoe that has been zipped with some strange plant food. Makes a excellent potatoe mutant. Excellent slime dude. They are all great!

I do not know if this will be any help or not. Things that give me ideas. Playing other video games, and watch how the story develops. A basic beginning could be a teenager walking across a bridge and he falls into the water. He is swept away, bangs his head and does not remember anything after he is rescued. Someone kidnaps a friend or family member. Someone owes you some money, and then disappears. Where did he go? Writing these stories for your games can be a great deal of fun. Try to stay away from what others have done in the past. Write your story so that others can feel the pain or happiness that you are feeling. I wrote a story. It is long, but it might give you some ideas. Go to Design Studio - Storys and Literature - Then go to Dream to Survive part one. There are four parts to the story. It is just that I have heard my eldest son place high restricitons on his characters abilities when playing third level D&D. Thanks for the information. How best would one start to level off a weapon, skills, character and the monsters. Is there some sort of method you would use that would give everyone, or thing a fair chance. I don't want my sons and grandsons coming after me with a buggy whip. LOL Thanks agan

Marked, I apologize for not getting back to you sooner. I am still working on the problem. I guess I have to start thinking like a programmer instead of a player. It confusing at times, but I will eventually figure it out. You and the others on the forum always give me good ideas that I write down or print out. I must have at least two binders full of information now. Some of it is as clear as mud, but other tutorials are explained in very excellent ways. You know that I have the deepest respect you people. I have played some games where you must be a certain level to handle certain weapons. When you set up our weapons does this apply or is this - atk, str, and so on for the weapon or is it your abilities to handle the weapons? I was wondering how to get my party to separate into separate groups or individuals so that I can have them interact with each other. Example - Star Ocean Till the end of time. :rolleyes:

I started this whole mess. And I am still having trouble getting this program to work. It says that my OS is wrong, then it will say that I don't have a purchased edition. Yet, right! I have paid for it and would like to be able to use it. Is there some sort of a fix method? If others are having this same problem, go to Help and Support, the type in the search area - conpatibility. You will have to work around with it a bit, but you should be able to work it out. Knowing that you younger people have better computer skills, you should be able to do it in ten - fifteen minutes at most. If I can do it anyone can! Lammorra :rolleyes:

I just received my B Present early. It is a new laptop computer. Does RMXP have a fix for Visa, so that I can run my program that I purchased from enterbrain. Is there some way to solve my problems. Lammorra
