Actually, I was just wondering on how the skill data from the GUI database is converted into script, or in other words, how the script-form of a generic skill looks like (Things like 'Heal', 'Greater Heal', 'Raise'). I was in the process of making a new category of skill with a rather complex calculation but didn't know where they have to be added. (As an example one of the custom stuff I was trying to make was the combined attack from two characters, with the resulting damage depending on the affinity of the elements of the first and second attack, the degree of friendship, yada yada yada...).

Setting up the characters and items into RPG Maker XP? I'm afraid I don't get what you mean, though maybe someone else gets it better than me.

If I correctly guessed your meaning, then it would be two things that you're looking for (Pardon me if I misunderstood them): 1) A tileset making tutorial, and 2) How to import them to RPG XP. As for the tileset-making tutorial, I've never really found any myself (though I don't know about others). But as to import custom tilesets, you only need to Go to the Tools >> Materialbase, or use the shortcut F10. This is the menu where you can import custom graphics, music, and the like.

With a good plot and variety (Something like the number of characters you can play; The balance between their skills and abilities, their strengths and weaknesses), and a running golfing script, this would really work. A boss whose strength is in the power of his hits? A boss who is really accurate but couldn't really make a decent long shot? I'd definitely play it. But what crossed my mind if I'd have to figure out how to make it as well was the number of new variables that would enter, like: Gravity -- Ball that flies will fall. Distance of ball, of course, depends on strength, flying angle and probably spin. Wind -- Affects trajectory. Degree of change depends on wind strength, wind direction, as well as the current speed and height of the ball (spin too? I'm not sure, I don't really know the mechanics of golf that well). Slope -- Ball would roll when it falls on a slope. I can't think how it would look like in RMXP yet, though. A special case of gravity. Inertia -- Ball would take on different speeds that depend not only on the force of the character's hit but also on the grounds they're on. (Sand, grass, barren earth, dry earth, mud, the possibilities are limitless). That's as far as my humble ideas would take me, though...
