Are Custom Battle Systems Allowed?

Well. I guess you are making a side scrolling game. XP is not the ideal program for making side scrollers. I have an idea how to make one but you would guess alot of custom tilesets. If you are not, try using an ABS like Blizz-ABS or Mr. Mo's ABS. If you want to try making a battle network one, you can use Minkoff's Animated Side View Battle System. (Not actually made by Minkoff)

I contacted blizzard for help with his script. He said I need a Scan/Analyze script. I searched and search. Nothing.... Any1 know where I can get it? P13@$3!

O.k. Maybe my title wasn't that much close to the truth. I'm actually o.k(Just OK) with XP. But i need help with Blizzard's ABS. I want to make a skill where when you hit the target, it scans its HP/MP and displays it. I want it simple, like right after the hit, it shows the HP in a text box, then shows SP in another after you press the Action Key. How can i do that? (If it can be made into a slightly more professional look, tell me please?) (I hope this is the right forum)
