nazerite

Seeing as how I'm making a G.I.Joe game i want to use pictures of the actual action figures. I can photoshop out backgrounds etc, but what size will i need to make the pics and if I want to use guys are primarily white will i run into problems? don't know if this has been done before but i tested out on one monster and it works (though you could only see their legs lol)

I came here with a planned story solid from beginning to end. I had wanted to do it on zeldaclassic (you guys know what that is?) but i really felt G.I.joe was a team deal so this would work better.

Awesome! are there any modern military/terrorist type images I could add into this program? that would really help me out. If not anybody interested making any?

Ahhhh!!!! nah that's pretty good actually. *Stole the pic :) Good eye Kiriashi ,Nazarite is where it came from. There are mutiple spellings including Nazirite (used by the NIV translation of the bible and other places) but that just looks scary. I can't remember where i saw it with an e but i've been spelling it that way for awhile now. I've not taken any jewish vows, I'm actually a non-denominational preacher and love the idea of drawing closer to God. Thanks for all the warm welcomes guys. My first couple of questions where from some mistakes on my part with the program and photoshop. I'm sure more will be coming soon as I get a chance to play around with program more.

I'm embarrassed by how simple both problems were, thanks for the feedback. I Figured it out on my own, my photo shop was set in some weird color mode (Fixed that) and the i was apparently uploaded tilesets in the wrong place! Oh well i guess i just need to get used to it a little more.

Hey i've watched some tutorials and am slowly getting the basics down of map making etc. I'm having two problems though. 1) when I import anything it only gives me a red dot beside it. I can't select the charas or the tilesets. 2) I tried editing some chara sets myself and had problems getting the coloring the way i wanted it. I was trying to use photo shop. Is there a program i need to use to edit the pngs? As an example to my problem i had a lady with purple hair, i was trying to change it to pink, no matter what pink i selected it showed up as different shades of purple. any help would be much appreciated guys!

Hey all. Find the site shortly after discovering rpg maker xp. I have tinkered a little with the old 2000 model and initially i was trying to find it again. I'll be around learning and reading tutorials and probably asking a lot of questions :) I'm a big G.I.joe fan and my goal is to make something for that community to play cause the new movie and game are going to stink :( imo
