I've had no problems with this program, scanned it twice. AVG claims too many things have viruses in them. That's why I got rid of it in favour of Avast! -

Is there a policy against using VX sprites in XP?

I was under the impression that you cannot use the sprites in any other product (such as Gamemaker). Since Enterbrain made both, as long as you own both (i.e. bought both) the RTP could be cross-transferrable. However, it would follow that if you can't use the RTP for one, you probably can't for the other.
