This looks very interesting, does the animation work like the earlier FF games (standing still) or later ones (run up and slash)? Does it require extra sprites?

Hi, I'm new as well, just registered to the forum. I have many ideas for games, but I'm still puzzling out the basics. Are there any easy to follow tutorials around? As for "necro-posting", perhaps newbs would be better able to avoid it if you would say what it means? The two words don't make a whole lot of sense together in context.
