My event based summoning system

This is my first attempt at an event based anything. This summoning system is very simple and effective. It will allow to summon creatures and be able to dismiss them.

There is a demo at the end of this post.

 

Okay I fixed almost everything in this summon system and restructured this post. All that's left is a short intro and the download link.

Well that was interesting ^_^

Okay now about your problem. I suggest you make a common event and place in all the Troops you have in the database that returns everyone to his previous state. There are other ways of course but I can't think of any at the moment >_> Although it would be better off using a script..

 

Another thing. Instead of making a new actor/class for every single summon you use. Why not just make "States" ? It's much better since it uses percentage, and much more practical !

Well that's just my way. I know there are loads of other ways, I just find that simple. For me anyway.

I found out a way to make the summoning system work perfectly! Get the demo in the first post to try it. I'll update the actual post later

Exactly, and yeah like I said it works. I don't have much time lately since I'm back in school and busy with other things, but when I get a chance I'll update the post

Hmm......... Very interesting..... This is a very useful tutorial. I think i'll use it in one project (of curse, i'll give credit for it- I'll write your name at credits);

 

 

I think I'll try to do something like this by me own, but i'm shure it won't be so cool.

EDIT: Added a new version, the actual summoning system hasn't changed but it's a little easier to understand now
