There is only two weeks of work behind this project. So the basic story, main features, and everything else is largely UNKNOWN. This is also not an rpg in the RMU sense of the term, nor is it being created with and RPGM engine. I apologize for the lack information, but I would like to stress that this project is VERY early in development.

Back Story

 

 

The year is 2018, and the government is reeling. The power grid has gone dark, along with the New York and European Stock Exchange, The Pentagon, several foreign embassies, Armed Forces Communication, and multiple nuclear silos around the world. Fifteen hours later the People's Republic of China, along with North Korea, and a newly reformed Russian Power Block invade multiple European Union countries and the USA. Thus beginning the third world war.

 

Ten grueling years later, the Democratic Alliance of Europe, the United States, and the South American Confederacy win the war. The cause of the blackout that gave the Communist block the upper hand? Over a hundred cyber terrorist cells had been planted and given the oder to knock out key staging posts. This event was cited as evidence for stronger anti-piracy and cyber prosecution laws. Using copy right laws to limit what companies could use. The government locked down on FOSS, Cyber Punks, and Hackers. Hard.

 

The year is now 2031, and you work as a "code runner". A person who does courier jobs for companies trying to circumvent electronic prosecution laws, corporate espionage, and generally works outside of the law. You have something that most people do not have in this day and age. Freedom. The will to go and do what ever you want, when you want. How will you use this freedom?

This will be filled out later, I'm too early in development to be trying to promise anything.

To come in due time. I don't have much of a story laid out, much less the characters in it.
