Guest Hellfire Dragon

I want to make an event so that when Z is pressed the character on the map transforms into someone else, but it isn't working. The animation will show but the person won't change. Here's some screenshots of it, I think I set it up right but can anyone help.

Your using the common event wrong.

When you don't put down a trigger there are only three ways to call it.

A. Through a skill

B. Call Common Event Command

C. Leon finds a way using the Call Script Command just to show off.

 

So you need to set the first common event to a parallel process.

 

 

That is how I did it anyhow. And it worked like a charm.

Also, I suggest a 5 frame delay because the player could be constantly tapping Z and it'd look funky.

Put the change class command above the switchs.

 

 

i've tried something similar before, but not 'exactly' that.. true...

(sometimes that makes a big difference XD ) so i'll give it a try.. =)

 

Edit:

 

 

hmm but nope, won't do. it probably changes the actor's class after battle, but for some reason not IN battle..
