Phrono 0 Report post Posted July 13, 2014 Greetings to everybody; Just wanted to say hi; I'm making a game with RPG Maker XP and I liked the atmosphere that reigned in this forum, besides you seem to have some good scripters around here... I think after my previous 4 or 5 attempts, I can finally finish a game in conditions (it will not be very long, I do not want to be too ambitious) but as I progress on the project will occur me new things to implement, so probably I will be often seen in the technical support forums... By the way, in what section of the forum I can do this type of questions to users who know scripting? Anyway, I just hope not to be very annoying and someday be able to show my game finished. Hugs for everyone, nice to be here! PD: Sorry about my bad english, it's not mi native language. Saltome 16 Report post Posted July 13, 2014 So, you want to be a developer... I wonder, hasn't it ever crossed your mind that you could join someone else's team, to gain the skills you need for your own game?
Phrono 0 Report post Posted July 14, 2014 Thanks for the links and the avatar advice, I'll check it. To be honest, I had not thought of that Saitome... anyway, with the skills that I have now, I do not think I could be much helpful... :annoyed: I am also downloading many demos and full games to see how other people do things... Phrono 0 Report post Posted July 14, 2014 Sure! What you want to see? I haven't done much pixel art yet... some enemy and scenery edits for Doom mods, some custom tilesets and characters, and full sized images for displaying at certain places, like computers or tv's in game. In this URL you can see some of my work... http://www.anevado.com/portafolio.html Is not much, because most of the things I've done was commissioned by some agencies and I'm not allowed to show them.
