Flying City

Okay, so, I need to make a "floating city" but I have no idea how. My guess would be that I need to use the Heaven Exterior tileset for it. However, I have no idea how to make a good looking city with that. Can someone help me?

What kind of city and exterior are you after? You could use the "Dark Space" tileset merged with a town tileset. That would create a dark flying city. Same with "Evil Castle" which you could build a flying city with. If you want a City in the clouds you could use of the town tilesets with the clouds from the "Heaven" tileset added on. I think that would look best.

Well, the city isn't really "evil" as the boss isn't exactly "evil"...you'd understand if you played the game...I just figured using the Heaven tileset would be nice. However, now that I think about it, I also need a castle to be in the center of the city so...

How do you merged 2 tileset? ^_^ As I'm trying to create a forest with some houses, bit Forest tileset doesn't have House.

Well, anyway...I still need this...if someone can help...I honestly have no idea how to make a floating city...I've looked at all the tilesets and can't think of a way to do it...if I have to use a custom one, let me know, so I cna get it...I'm just waiting on someone to help me out...since I can't seem to figure it out myself.

Couldn't you just make the city, like, with whatever tileset you wanted it to look like, and then put in a "background image" or something of clouds or the sky to make it appear as if it's flying? I know I've seen images where people have put in backgrounds and it really changes the whole way the game looks. Idk, maybe that could be a solution?

That's true...I dunno, though...I can't recall if any of the city tilesets have ground tiles I can use as like...floating ground, you know? I need cliffs for that...I know the farm has cliffs...but I dunno how to make a city with that one...I'll look them over, though...maybe I can figure something out

To be honest making a flying city would be something for a mapping genius to pull off *coughs and looks in a mirror cocky-like* yet, if you really desire its best if you try using the Ultimate Tileset I'll contact you through PM to see if you're interested in getting it from me. That goes to anyone else reading this thread <3.
