drago2308 4 Report post Posted September 7, 2014 (edited) Heya GDU community once again, Before I start I must say that I am not doing this for advertising myself or anything to do with my profit, I am simply sharing this news to others so that they can benefit from it as much as i did. Ok, Lets get down to business, so for a good week now i have been looking though the internet, finding tutorials and all that other jazz on game development, java development and website development. And i happens to stumble across a website that finds and makes great offers/sale on professionally created learning courses. They usually put theses courses into bundles and slash the prices off of them, (some are pay what you want like the humble bundle). however the one that intrigued me the most was this one. https://stacksocial.com/sales/the-massive-stone-river-elearning-development-bundle Go have a look at it and tell me what you think. At this moment it is $60 but that's not much at all for the price it would cost without the bundle. There are other once that people other than game developers could get behind. I'll list them: The name your own price bundle, that includes courses on every thing you need to know about website building(as little as $6 for all of the courses WTF) https://stacksocial.com/sales/the-name-your-own-price-front-end-master-bundle The "Do-it-all" pack that includes courses for all the most popular coding languages at a very good price of $40. https://stacksocial.com/sales/the-newbie-hacker-bundle For those who want to learn android development without having to go though the pain I did. $40 https://stacksocial.com/sales/the-android-hacker-bundle For those who want to create websites like this one, using html5, CSS 3, JavaScript and Bootstrap 3. $40 https://stacksocial.com/sales/the-full-stack-hacker-bundle-2-0# And there is more! even just game bundles. The one that i will be buying is the Name your own price one, why? well It's literally one of the best deals on the internet, if you were not to get it you would be mad! even if I wont use it now I can learn it all in the future. Oh and this does not mean tackle these all on your own, remember that we are a community here at gdu. sometimes it is better to talk to people that can respond to you. As a last note Think fast because these deals, for all i know have less than 9 days remaining on most of them. Comment your thoughts below, I'd love to hear from what your reactions are to this. P.S If i posted this in the wrong place please tell me or move it for me... Edited September 7, 2014 by drago2308
Marked 197 Report post Posted September 7, 2014 These all seem to be game related. Before anyone considers this purchase, I would compare with a tutsplus subscription which (at first glance) covers all of these topics http://tutsplus.com/ For those who want to create websites like this one, or just want to learn ruby on rails. $40You would, but this site isn't built in ruby on rails :P

Marked 197 Report post Posted September 7, 2014 Ah, I did miss the "or" but yes I see the bundle and how it's all web related. I would not be learning ruby on rails to learn RGSS, though. Bootstrap 3, HTML5, CSS3, and JS are all used in this site, which is quite obvious but I'd be impressed if you recognised we used bootstrap 3.

Oh, My bad D: Let me fix that. but I'd be impressed if you recognised we used bootstrap 3. I heard you mention that you did somewhere on the forums once, my memory is weird like that. :P
