Game Section Testers?

This a feature request for the game section.

 

I would like a feature that allowes only testers the ability to see a page made for testers on the game page. That way i can easily push out info to my testers and provide download links to current builds of the game without having to contact all the testers. It would also be great for selected beta testing.

So its a normal page on the front-end, but only visible to team members and testers? At the moment, any member you add to your team can access the dashboard of your game page. But I imagine that wouldn't be ideal for developers who just want some members to help them out with testing.

 

There's still the problem with communication. You could have a page you merely update over and over. Perhaps something like a private forum between team members would be ideal. What about this; each game page gets a forum that can only be accessed by their own team-members. But the number of forums is fixed: there's only News & Announcements, Testers, etc. Just essential forums, because the point is not to create a community, the point is facilitate development of the game.

Yea like that. comments could be used for communication but yea a private forum would be more ideal for feedback.

That's why I mentioned forums, because comments are like using the wrong tool for the job. As time goes on, you don't want older comments to remain there. A forum seems to me to be a much better fit to achieve what you want.
