I have a suggestion...

Would the Scripts Archive be more easy to use if it were more organized? I mean, as someone who is looking for a bunch of scripts to possibly use, it's hard to find exactly where certain scripts are. I suggest making it so that when you click on the SGSS scrips section, it breaks into subcategories instead of going right into one particular forum. Then, when there have been finished scripts made, they can be sorted into "battle system scripts," "event scripts," "weapon/armor scripts," etc....you know, or whatever the most prevalent script types are. And only finished scripts would go in those sections, where as all requests would still go in the requests section.

Just a suggestion to make the forum a bit more user friendly. I'd be willing to help sort stuff if need be.

Sounds like a good idea to me. I have all the organize categories previously made(Another little experiment of mine) so it wouldn't take long.

Although I like adding polls to topics like this to see what the majority of members want.

I'm not much of a scripter, but I haven't seen many(none that come to mind actually) where you need to alter the variables to get a script to work. Most are just copy and paste and away you go. This is off-topic, so if you are having trouble with a particular script, make a topic in the right section.

Still looking for more votes.

I think that not enough people know about the topic, and thus why they haven't voted. Feel free to change the name of it, or make an announcement? If you think that would help.

Also, I think that we could do this not only with scripts but with tutorials too! I mean, think about it - instead of fishing around for individual tutorials on how to do certain specific things in the entire thread, we could break it up. Suddenly, all the mapping tutorials are in one place, eventing in another, etc. Or we could even break it down within those sections. For example, eventing could be broken up into "small events/switches" and then "cut scenes," or whatever. Doesn't have to be those, but you get the point.

Yay Marked!! He did it! Yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy. Now life will be that much easier for me when I start making my game :D. Now all that's left is to move all the existing topics into their appropriate places, which I see is already being done. Yay!!

Thanks Marked :D
