Help needed on making a intro

Question

Allrighty, first off I thank you for viewing this post.

 

So I have a problem trying to make my intro work the way i want it to work.

 

I have decided that the intro starts off when my character has a dream.

Everything's going fine but i cant figure out how can i view the intro without having to transfer the player from the bed to the intro scene.

Player goes to bed and then it should be somehow linked to the scene but without the player's model.

 

 

I'm gonna ask an other thing too while I'am at it, if you dont mind.

 

The intro start's when a model is moving and I'm using the custom move route to make it move at the edge of the map.

How can I make that model tranfer to an other map?

 

 

I have tried all the way' I can imagine and I really apriciate you're help getting me started. :)

 

I hope this post make's sense and is understanded the way i meant.

Ok, for the first one.

Are you trying to transfer from one map to the other without the player being in the second map? Can you be more specific?

 

And the second one, you need to use either the "Teleport" or "Transfer Player" event command. Depending on versions.

Yeah, you got it right but the second question is linked to first one.

Ill try again.

 

Player goes to sleep in a map A

She sees a dream that is in map B

She Isnt there she just sees it.

 

Dream start's by a moving model going trough the map B

The model move's to the edge of the map of B

How can it be tranfered to the map C

 

Hope I explained better this time.

Okay, to remove the player, simply remove her from your party. Problem solved. Or alternatively, you could change their model, or sprite, to nothing.

 

In the move event, change the Model B's event to none. Then transfer player to Map C, and set up the event for the model your supposed to follow. You don't need to transfer outside events from map to map, as that's impossible. You can however, recreate him onto another map. If you follow.
