FranklinX 37 Report post Posted March 27, 2016 Hi guys! It's been too long since we last talked! I've been looking into MV and start to restart my project on it. My mind is fresh with new ideas on how to improve my current project. I may have to start all over from the beginning. How good is the engine?
Bob423 52 Report post Posted March 27, 2016 Aside from the mapping, I think it's great. The mapping is better than Ace at least.
Marked 197 Report post Posted March 28, 2016 Depends who you are and what you're trying to achieve, of course. Silly Franky, If you have no plan and just wana kill time, then any engine can satisfy your needs.

Kitsuki 17 Report post Posted March 31, 2016 Everyone is saying that it's improved in every way except mapping. How much more improved is the eventing, out of curiosity?
Marked 197 Report post Posted March 31, 2016 Using javascript is kind of like a depreciation in code quality, but opens up a world of opportunities and its much easier to code in, particularly because you can examine objects in depth. I mean, every decent coding language has an object. You know, a class where you instantiate an object (of the class). You can examine all of its variables, all of its functions, at any point. That's a very beautiful thing in coding. If you want to make games and not learn to code, I'd like to remind you that life is short and you're wastin' a bunch of it.
