Marked 197 Report post Posted October 26, 2016 GDUr is essentially a modern forum. It performs almost all of the same functions, except that it is easier to post content, it’s more focussed on what you’re working and it’s arguably more social. Much of the GDU forum has become irrelevant for various reasons. The intention of GDUr is to become the new heart of GDU. I have been extremely busy this year and well into my new career (I’m currently a commercial lawyer), and accordingly I’ve had little to offer GDU except for switching off my brain and writing code, which I find very relaxing. Anyway – while this is likely the last throw of the dice for me (I mean… I’ve given it 10 years of my life already), I intend to give it a good shot and put a lot of effort into making it successful. Here’s the GDUr Roadmap and where it’s headed: Open beta initial release (current). Thank you for being my testers; Revise until software is stable; Update social media accounts and social media advertising; Add finishing touches: mobile compatible. editing posts. attractive UI. updated profiles and social features. notification emails. custom and simpler registration form. featured posts and developers. SEO. Split internal advertising: batches of bulk emails and split A/B testing Complete internal advertising; External advertising. Possibly use GDU’s profits. Yes, GDU has made a profit but so far I’ve been pocketing it :) 1 DustyZiroto reacted to this
