Chief 30 Report post Posted May 13, 2008 the logo is pretty cool. but the background color for the logo is too dark. it doesnt match its surroundings. it would be easier to turn that image into a png and have the background transparent. if you want a true website, then learn HTML and design a homepage or something like that which makes the site a more personal feel and it gives you way mroe opportunities and ways to present your own creations. Marked 197 Report post Posted May 13, 2008 I was the one who created those forums and choose the skin. I did not do anything design work or anything though. Personally I like that skin, and used it on another invisionfree forum and while ago which proved to be pretty popular. For the logo I just changed the .psd that came with the skin to match the name of the forum. The logo is a png, but why make it transparent? Perhaps you see something I dont, because what you are suggesting would make it look the same. The background color of the logo is the same as the tiling logostip background color. Or did you mean something else? We did not need a homepage, it was simply a place for easier communication for a team project. Or at least that was the intention on my part. I set the place up, Maph did the rest. I suppose the name would suggest and game development forum, but it was more a project development forum. There have been no posts for almost 2 months. Chief 30 Report post Posted May 13, 2008 oh... im just tryin to give as much advise on website as humanly possible... lol... adn yes the bg color of the logo is darker than the bgcolor of the logo space on the forums. i would post a scrn to show what i eman but my keyboard insists on being retarded...
