Passability Issue

Question

Hi,

 

 

I'm using a custom tileset, and I can't seem to get the passability changes I make to work. No matter what, my character can still walk through things I assign to be solid.

 

After consulting the FAQ section regarding this (and attempting what it suggests), I was still unable to fix my problem.

 

Any thoughts?

I once had the same prob.

I just covered the empty places in each layer with the upper left "white tile" and it fixed the prob.

Yep just replace layers 2 and 3 with the upper left white tile and that should work

Remember even if you use different layers, they're still connected. If you put a carpet on a tree.. and the tree's priority isnt set right you'll be able to walk over the tree.

 

Passage -> Passage 4 dir -> Priority

 

Those 3 are vital in maps, especially custom ones. If I had a demo I could tell you exactly what the problem is.. or even a screenshot.
