Fatal Corruption

Fatal Corruption (FC) is the first game being made by Team Shadow Gamers production team.

 

Story

NOTE: The main character is refered to as <Hero> because he has no name yet and the player might get to choose (we haven't decided yet)

We start in the small village of Hangston where <Hero> is eating with his family in his small farmhouse. There is little chatter and only the sound of fork and plate. Suddenly we hear a screaming from outside and somebody bursts in to the house all bloody and falls on to the floor dead on the spot. The family quickly hides the <Hero> and his sister upstairs and goes down to see what is happening. We only see the <Hero> and his sister talking very quietly we do not see what is happening outside. But we hear alot of screaming and crying and horrifying noises. Suddenly the father comes in to the room, but he does not seem right. He stares at his children. Sister asks what is wrong and father grabs her and breaks her neck and feasts on her neck spewing out blood. <Hero> looking shocked kicks his father and runs outside. MADNESS. Everywhere are corpses, blood and...zombies rising up and feasting on the living. What is this? Suddenly one of the living clearly bitten shouts to the <Hero> "Run! Escape while you still can!" and suddenly the eyes turn white and he lunges at the <Hero>'s neck. <Hero> dodges but is now being chased by this being. <Hero> runs into a nearby house and is back up against a wall. The zombie advances on the hero very slowly...suddenly there is a swish of steel and a sword decapitates the zombie's head completely. <Hero> tries to run but is picked up by a man in bloody armour. "My name is Stanley Johnson, Paladin of the Shadow Crusade"...he stares at <Hero> "Tell me boy...have you been bitten or harmed in anyway?" "No!" replies <Hero>. "Hmm, your family have been slaughtered and we are burning this entire village, we will take you in and provide sanctuary for now". Says Stanley. "T...thank you". <Hero> breaks down and begins crying when Stanley leads him to The Shadow Temple where the Shadow Crusade lives and trains. "You may rest here until we can find a safe place for you to go" says Stanley. "No! I want to fight! I want to avenge my family and my village!" Screams the <Hero>. "Hmm, you seem a strong lad. Maybe we could induct you as a paladin of the Shadow Crusade if you possess the Light..let's take you to see General Bloodthorn."

 

Characters

<Hero>

<Hero> comes from a simple farming village and farming family. He grew up in his village and planned to marry one of the village girls and continue the farming tradition. Fate however, had decided a different destiny...

Stanley Johnson

Stanley grew up in the Capital of Doombrood where life is rough and full of criminals. A lot of the paladins of the Shadow Crusade also come from this Capital. Not much else is known about Stanley.

General Bloodthorn

The leader of the righteous Shadow Crusade. After watching her grandmother, the last of her family being slaughtered at the hands of The Corrupted, she formed the group of paladins and vowed to stop the Corruption. Not much is known about her past before this incident. She tends to keep to herself when not on the battlefield.
