Error when trying to start up RPGXP

did you install the rtp? cuz as far as i know, thats what your problem is... but i am not the best person to deal with here...

You tried to reinstall it... Did you completely remove the program from your computer? You can't just delete the icon on your screen and think you deleted the whole thing if you did. :P Go to Remove/Add Programs on Control Panel. Then find RPG Maker. Remove it. Then reinstall it from Enterbrain.

Why don't you try downloading the rgss102e.dll file from the internet. You can easily find it on one of the RPG Maker sites. I would upload it, but this is not my computer and it does not have RPG Maker XP (plus RMXP does not work on mac's). AFter you download the file, place it in your game folder and in the C:/Program Files/Common Files/Enterbrain/RGSS/ folder for when you make other games.

Thanks so much, that worked but now it's giving me other problems when I start it so I'm not sure if I should even keep trying to get this working. =/
