EmilyAnnCoons 7 Report post Posted August 5, 2008 Ok, I know someone at one point said that they could take music and turn it into a very good, looping Ogg file. I've come to the point where I can find no music for my game that loops properly. However, if I could get a looping Ogg file made from mp3s I have, then I could easily work the music in my game better. So, who was it that could do that? isaacsol 10 Report post Posted August 5, 2008 Use Audacity to open the MP3 file trim off the end and then export it as an OGG. Very simple :)
Arkbennett 16 Report post Posted August 5, 2008 Dude, that could solve a bunch of my problems. Lol, I didn't ask the question. But thanks! Audacity is a program right? Do you gotta pay for it or not?
Wyzrd 12 Report post Posted August 5, 2008 No, you don't have to pay for it, audacity is free. Being a free program you pretty much get nothing lol. It's ok if your doing basic things with it, but for me as an artist I hate it lol.
EmilyAnnCoons 7 Report post Posted August 6, 2008 All right, thanks for all the info, everyone, though it looks like this won't work after all...what I need to do is find a way to make it loop from the end of the song to a certain part in the middle of the song, because whenever the battle music starts, it has a small portion at the beginning, then it goes on with the music...
