Music into looping Ogg?

Recommended Posts

Ok, I know someone at one point said that they could take music and turn it into a very good, looping Ogg file. I've come to the point where I can find no music for my game that loops properly. However, if I could get a looping Ogg file made from mp3s I have, then I could easily work the music in my game better. So, who was it that could do that?

Use Audacity to open the MP3 file trim off the end and then export it as an OGG. Very simple :)

Dude, that could solve a bunch of my problems.

Lol, I didn't ask the question. But thanks!

Audacity is a program right? Do you gotta pay for it or not?

No, you don't have to pay for it, audacity is free. Being a free program you pretty much get nothing lol. It's ok if your doing basic things with it, but for me as an artist I hate it lol.

All right, thanks for all the info, everyone, though it looks like this won't work after all...what I need to do is find a way to make it loop from the end of the song to a certain part in the middle of the song, because whenever the battle music starts, it has a small portion at the beginning, then it goes on with the music...
